Daddy Day Care

Daddy Day Care is a family comedy film starring Eddie Murphy and co-starring Jeff Garlin, Steve Zahn, Regina King, Anjelica Huston and Lacey Chabert. The story center's around two young fathers Charlie (Eddie Murphy) and Marvin (Steve Zahn) who loses their jobs at a large corporation and are forced to take their two sons out of a private school and become stay-at-home daddys. With no new job opportunities in the near future Charlie and Marvin decided to open there own day care centre. eventually the duo through trial and error makes a success of there new situation as well as grow as parents.

Daddy Day Care is a great classic with home husbands more common today, and the state of the economy as it is, This family comedy provides a good laugh but also inspirations for anyone in a similar situation.

Big Daddy

Big Daddy is a "coming of age" romantic comedy film directed starring Adam Sandler, Joey Lauren Adams, Kristy Swanson, Jon Stewart and Leslie Mann.

The story centers around a lazy law school graduate Sonny Koufax (Adam Sandler) who is 32 years old living in a nice apartment in Manhattan as a result of a injury lawsuit he won a year ago. Fed up with his lack of direction in life and sitting around watching TV his girlfriend Vanessa (Kristy Swanson) leaves him. In order to win Vanessa back Sonny comes up with the ingenious idea to adopt a five year old boy "Julian" to showcase his new found maturity. However nothing go as planned, and he finds himself the unlikely foster father of Julian until a new home can be found for him. With Julian in tow and Vanessa not impressed with Sonny attempt to win her back, both childish Sonny and Julian spend there days plotting to meet other girls and win the affections of Sonny's new love interest Layla (Joey Lauren Adams).

Big Daddy is one of Adam Sandlers best films and fits into this hubs theme well, While not to be taken seriously it highlights that parenthood while unexpected we can grow to meet its challenges.

Cheaper by the Dozen is a family comedy film starring Steve Martin as Tom Baker and Bonnie Hunt as Kate Baker, Parents to a family of twelve children. Other noticeable cast members include:

Cheaper by the Dozen tells the story of the "The Bakers", a regular American family in every sense but for the fact parents Tom Baker (Steve Martin) and Kate Baker (Bonnie Hunt) are a family of 14 with 12 children. Having all grown up in a small-town in Illinois Tom Baker the local high school football coach receives his dream job to coach his alma mater's football team in the big city.

Meanwhile, Kate his wife also receives good news of having her book published and goes on tour. While Kates away promoting her book, Tom is left alone to deal with the stress of the pending move as well as he 12 children's reactions to the change in lifestyle and environment, while the younger Bakers enjoy their new home, The teens with in the group deal with relationships and lost of childhood friends as a result.

Out numbered Tom has a hard time keeping the house in order while Kates away in addition to coaching his football team, as a result the once harmonious family falls into chaos but in the process reinvent themselves.

Cheaper by the Dozen 2 is a family comedy and the sequel to the 2003 Cheaper by the Dozen. Steve Martin and Bonnie Hunt returns as the heads of the Baker family along with Hilary Duff,Piper Perabo, Alyson Stoner, and Tom Welling reprise their roles as members of the twelve-child Baker family. Also starring in this latest installment is Eugene Levy as Jimmy Murtaugh and Carmen Electra who portrays Levy's trophy wife of a rival family of eight children.

This time The Bakers are going on a family camping vacation to there lake house, however the lake has been developed since there last trip as well as the older members of the Baker children too old for such trips. While at the lake the Bakers soon find themselves in competition with a rival family of eight children, headed by Jimmy Murtaugh. A family who everything the Bakers are not but aspire to be, In this "keeping up with the Jones" environment both Tom and his children plot and plan to bet and humiliate the Murtaugh in out outrageous ways.

Cheaper by the Dozen 2 is a enjoyable continuation from the original and provides some very entertaining situations you maybe find yourself in future.


Little Fockers

Little Fockers or also known as Meet the Parents: Little Fockers is a comedy film and sequel to Meet the Parents (2000) and Meet the Fockers (2004). It stars Robert De Niro, Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, Blythe Danner, Teri Polo, Jessica Alba, Dustin Hoffman and Barbra Streisand.

Little Fockers continues the tale of male nurse "Greg" Gaylord Focker's (Ben Stiller) and his relationship with his controlling and over protective ex CIA father-in-law Jake Bynes (Robert De Niro). Now with five year old twins with wife Pam (Teri Polo) a financially trouble Greg takes on a job moonlighting for a drug company, selling erectal dysfunction pills. Jack's soon suspicious Greg of cheating with the drug rep (Jessica Alba). This is all happening while Jack is seeking to find a replacement head of the family "The Godfocker" after his recent health scare. Greg now must clear his innocent and prove to Jack that he can be the man of the house and "The Godfocker" over rival Pam's ex, Kevin (Owen Wilson).

Parenthood is a classic 1989 Steve Martin comedy-drama film, directed by Ron Howard with an ensemble cast starring Steve Martin, Tom Hulce, Rick Moranis, Martha Plimpton, Joaquin Phoenix, Keanu Reeves, Jason Robards, Mary Steenburgen, and Dianne Wiest.

The story centers around a midwestern family The Buckman's and their friends, attempting to bring up their children. Gil Buckman (Steve Martin), a sales executive in the St. Louis is trying to find balance in his family life and career. With financial issues Gil is a workaholic and is detached from his two children who are expecting their own growing pains entering puberty, causing more stress for Gil and resulting in himself reflecting of his own parenting skills.

On the day he decides to quit his sales job his wife, Karen (Mary Steenburgen), tells Gil she is now pregnant with their fourth child he is unsure if he can deal with everything issues relating to parenthood.
